Rookie Camps – Wednesday, May 29
Rookies across the league will report to their respective camps this coming Wednesday. They’ll be joined by veteran quarterbacks, who will be looking to rid themselves of any rust that may have accumulated during the off-season, as well as acclimate themselves to any changes that may have been made to their playbooks.
Veterans Report – Saturday, June 1
Three days after rookies and QBs arrive, the veterans will report to camp, eager to get their month of work underway.
Training Camps open – Sunday, June 2
Coaches, scouts and players get to work on what is the official start of the road to the 101st Grey Cup in Regina.
Pre-Season Week A - June, 12-14
After a solid week and a half of practices, mainstays and hopefuls will get their first chance to strut their stuff in what will be the first of two pre-season games for all teams.
Wednesday, June 12 – 8:00pm ET: Argonauts at Blue Bombers
Thursday, June 13 – 7:00pm ET: Tiger-Cats at Alouettes
Friday, June 14 – 9:00pm ET: Roughriders at Eskimos
Friday, June 14 – 9:00pm ET: Lions at Stampeders
First Roster Cuts – Sunday, June 16
Prior to 11:59pm ET on Sunday June 16, all CFL teams must reduce their roster to 65 players.
Pre-Season Week B – June, 20-21
The second and last pre-season game of the 2013 exhibition schedule is often the final test for bubble players to impress and the last chance for veterans to shake off any late-camp issues they may have.
Thursday, June 20 – 7:00pm ET: Alouettes at Argonauts
Thursday, June 20 – 7:00pm ET: Blue Bombers at Tiger-Cats
Thursday, June 20 – 10:00pm ET: Stampeders at Roughriders
Friday, June 21 – 10:00pm ET: Eskimos at Lions
Final Roster Cuts – Saturday, June 22
As of 10:00pm ET on Saturday, teams are required to reduce their roster of players under contract to 46 active players (excluding 9-game injured and those transferred to the one game injured list).
Regular Seasons Begins – Thursday, June 27
19 weeks of action gets underway, as the Als travel to Winnipeg’s Investors Group Field to officially kickoff the 2013 CFL season.
